Youth String Program Personnel

Her "mission" since moving to Brevard has been to establish a strings instructional program for elementary school students in the area and to develop that program to the point where instrumental music instruction becomes a part of the Transylvania County Schools curriculum.

The BOA was approached with a proposal to develop the Youth String Program at the start of 2004. To date, both intermediate and beginning classes of string students are supported in part by the Brevard Orchestra Association with scholarships.
